The experience

About this day out

Warren Bank is a small 3-hectare nature reserve of flowery chalk grassland, a relic of the grasslands that once covered much of the Chilterns. Its approach offers stunning panoramic views taking in the Thames and Berkshire Downs. Wildflowers such as clustered bellflower, pyramidal orchid, bee orchid, large thyme and deadly nightshade flourish here, and butterflies including marbled white, dark green fritillary and green hairstreak can be recorded.
