Ware Museum is a free-to-enter, independent accredited museum on Ware's High Street by the entrance to Ware Priory. Its four galleries cover the archaeology, geology, social and industrial history of the town, featuring Roman remains, Medieval treasures and a World War II Command Centre. The museum also has a gift shop and serves as a tourist information point.

Accessibility: The main museum galleries are on ground level with step-free access throughout. The World War II Command Centre is accessed from inside the museum via a short flight of steps but can also be accessed step-free via the museum garden. Display information is available in large print, and a magnifying glass and sheet magnifier can be provided. Assistance dogs are welcome and a bowl of drinking water can be provided. The nearest Changing Places toilet is at Wodson Park Sports Centre.
Parking: No on-site parking; the nearest pay-and-display car park is a 3 minute walk away at Burgage Lane. No bicycle racks, but bikes may be left in the garden at the owner's risk.
Dogs: Assistance dogs are welcome in the museum and a bowl of drinking water can be provided.
