About this day out

Founded in 1249, University College (Univ) is an academic community at the heart of Oxford offering excellence in teaching, learning and research. The College site comprises the Main Quad and Radcliffe Quad entered from the High Street, plus the Goodhart Buildings, Cecily's Court and the Merton Street complex across Logic Lane. It includes a chapel, dining hall, buttery and bar, and regularly hosts open days, guest lectures and alumni events.

Accessibility
Due to the age and mix of the buildings not all are fully accessible, but most major areas can be reached and there are accessible bedrooms. A new lift into College via 83/85 High Street (next to the Treasury) is operational, operated by the Lodge who may require advance notice. The main entrance is not level but a level-access alternative entrance is available; there are five accessible toilets across the main site, four accessible bedrooms (three in the Goodhart Building, one at Redcliffe Maud House), and a hearing support system is listed in the access guide.
