The experience
About this day out
Tomnah'a Market Garden is a 5-acre site at Comrie Croft in rural Perthshire, Scotland, growing fresh flowers, fruit, vegetables and herbs since 2015. Its produce goes to Veg Share subscribers, restaurants and local stockists, while its floristry team creates wild flower arrangements for weddings, funerals, wreaths and bouquets using flowers grown on site. Visitors can join pick-your-own flower sessions, garden tours, plant sales and craft workshops such as basket weaving.

Practical details
Facilities & accessibility
At a glance
- Accessibility
- Most workshops take place outdoors on the farm, with covered space for rainy weather. The whole farm site is on a slope, though there is a more level, well-drained dirt track from the vehicle gate to the events barn; the path from the top gate is quite steep and uneven. The composting loo has a couple of steps up to it, and the nearest flush toilets and accessible toilets are at Comrie Croft, about 150m away up a rough track. Workshop participants can be dropped off at the vehicle gate to avoid the steeper slope, and alternative routes onto and around the field can be arranged for those with mobility assistance by contacting info@tomnaha.com.
- Parking
- Parking is plentiful at Comrie Croft. The car park is on a slope, but there are parking spaces at the top close to the Croft buildings, and workshop participants can be dropped off at the vehicle gate.
