Tea room, carriages & toilets open Tuesdays - Sundays 10am - 4pm, closed Mondays except Bank Holidays, from 1st April - 31st October. Miniature railway runs Tuesday - Friday 11:00 - 12:00 and weekends 11:00am - 12:00 and 1:00 - 3:00pm (weather permitting).

The experience

About this day out

Old Station Tintern is a 10-acre heritage centre nestling beside the River Wye in the heart of the Wye Valley. The site features recently refurbished railway carriages with local information and history, an N-gauge model railway, a miniature railway, a tea room, a one-mile riverside circular walk, the Circle of Legends, a play area and a 30 metre aerial zip slide. It has held the Green Flag award since 2009.
