About this day out

The Tom Paine Printing Press is Peter Chasseaud's project featuring a working 18th Century style wooden Common Press in Lewes, Sussex, operational since July 2009. It prints artists' and writers' own works and is open to the public for demonstrations and courses by appointment. Located at 151 High Street, it shares its space with the Press Gallery, which hosts monthly exhibitions of work by contemporary printmakers.
