The experience
About this day out
The Telephone Gallery is Ashton Keynes' iconic red K6 telephone kiosk, designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, which Ashton Keynes Parish Council adopted under the BT Adopt a Kiosk scheme. Village volunteers led by Parish Councillor Russell Blackaller restored the box to its former glory and installed a solar charged light. In January 2022, the Parish Council accepted local community artist Kathryn Gray's proposal to use the telephone box as a mini gallery.
