About this day out
The Helicopter Museum near Weston-super-Mare holds the largest dedicated helicopter collection in the world, with over 80 exhibits displayed in an all-weather undercover hangar. Visitor favourites include two of the Queen's Royal Flight helicopters, the world speed record holder G-LYNX, a Vietnam Huey and a Russian Hind. Open Cockpit Days, helicopter flights and special events take place throughout the year.

- Only Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs are allowed inside the museum or café; no other dogs are permitted on site. Proof of Assistance Dog Status is required if the dog is not wearing its official harness or jacket.
