About this day out

Great British Car Journey is an interactive car museum based on the old Derwent Wireworks site at Ambergate in Derbyshire, on the edge of the Peak District. It displays over 150 carefully selected British cars, from the Austin Seven to the Metro, with an interactive audio-visual guide telling the story of the British motor industry. Visitors can also drive classic cars through the Drive Dad's Car experience.
