About this day out
The Courtauld Gallery is home to one of the world's great art collections, located in the historical setting of Somerset House in central London. Its collection of over 33,000 objects ranges from the Middle Ages to the 21st century and includes iconic Impressionist masterpieces such as Manet's A Bar at the Folies-Bergère and Van Gogh's Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear. The collection spans paintings, prints and drawings, sculpture and decorative arts, from the Renaissance to the 20th century.

Opening calendar
Open Monday to Sunday, 10:00–18:00 (last entry 17:15). Open until 20:00 (last entry 19:15) on Friday 4 September for the Hepworth in Colour exhibition.
