The experience
About this day out
The Cassandra Hand Centre is a non-profit community enterprise established in 2006 in Clones Town, County Monaghan, housed in a 19th-century Gothic-style building commissioned in 1859 by Cassandra Hand as a school for infants and girls. The centre promotes the archaeological, architectural and historical heritage of the area through social and cultural events, a genealogy service and guided walking tours on request. It is located on Abbey Lane in Clones Town, across from the Round Tower.
