About this day out
Suffolk Aviation Heritage Museum is a donation-based charity museum dedicated to the history of flight in the Ipswich and Suffolk areas, run by knowledgeable volunteers. It is split over two buildings, with displays including the History of Flight in Suffolk, Local Cold War History, the Ipswich Airport photograph collection, a Falklands War exhibition, and aircraft such as a restored Hawker Hunter and De Havilland Vampire.
