STORIEL (formerly the Gwynedd Museum & Art Gallery, Bangor) is located in the University City of Bangor and is the county museum and gallery for Gwynedd. It runs an active programme of temporary exhibitions and special events, with a permanent display of museum collections relating to life in Gwynedd through the ages, including Roman artefacts and a large collection of unique chairs. It also has a gift shop selling art and crafts.
