About this day out
Opened in 1934, Stonehaven Open Air Pool is the UK's only art deco Olympic sized sea water lido. The pool is heated and open during the summer season until early September, making it suitable whatever the weather. Facilities include a paddling pool for little ones, the Splash Cafe and a chute.

Opening calendar
Early and late season (Sat 30 May – Thu 2 July and Wed 19 Aug – Sun 6 Sept): Monday–Friday 1pm–7:30pm, Saturday–Sunday 10am–6pm. Peak season (Fri 3 July – Tue 18 Aug): Monday–Friday 10am–7:30pm, with Moonlight Swims Wednesdays 10pm–midnight (8 July to 12 August, pre-booking advised).

- Fully accessible with wheelchair ramps, an accessible changing room and a poolside hoist. A Changing Place is available in the Leisure Centre next door. Carers go free.
