About this day out
Stills is a centre for photography based in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, established in 1977. It supports the advancement, enjoyment, exploration and understanding of photography in Scotland through exhibitions, courses, production facilities and events. Entry to the gallery is free, and the venue also hosts STILLS AUTOMAT, Scotland's only analogue photobooth.

Opening calendar
Gallery: Tuesday–Saturday, 11am–5pm. Production facilities: Tuesday 11am–5pm, Wednesday 11am–9pm, Thursday 11am–9pm, Friday 11am–5pm, Saturday 11am–5pm. STILLS AUTOMAT (analogue photobooth): Tuesday–Saturday, 11am–5pm.
