About this day out

Bristol Dockyards is a harbourside destination and home to the SS Great Britain, which when launched in 1843 was the world's largest passenger ship and one of the first iron, propeller-driven ocean liners. The site includes the new SS Great Britain Experience Museum, the Historic Dockyards, the Being Brunel Museum and the Brunel Institute, one of the world's finest maritime collections.
