About this day out
Skaill House is Orkney's finest 17th-century mansion, overlooking the Bay of Skaill and standing beside the Neolithic settlement of Skara Brae. Following careful restoration, the house is open to the public and is accredited by VisitScotland as a four-star visitor attraction. Entry is via a joint ticket with the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Skara Brae, with tours beginning at the Skara Brae Visitor Centre.
