Siccaridge Wood is a 27-hectare semi-natural ancient woodland nestled in the Golden Valley, bordering Sapperton Valley. It boasts a carpet of bluebells in spring and supports a sizeable population of dormice monitored as part of the National Dormouse Monitoring Scheme. Coppicing management allows light to flood the woodland floor, encouraging wildflowers that attract butterflies.

- Paths can be muddy and uneven underfoot, with steep climbs in places, although flatter, stony footpaths can be found higher up Siccaridge Wood.
- Parking
- Park in the lay-by on the other side of the bridge from The Daneway Inn; there is also parking for a couple of vehicles at the start of the ridgetop path (opposite the entrance to Daneway Banks).
- Dogs
- Dogs allowed on a lead; visitors are welcome to take their dog off the lead in places
