About this day out

Sandford Station Railway Heritage Centre is a volunteer-run, registered charity heritage centre in the village of Sandford, five miles from Yatton Station along The Strawberry Line. Visitors can explore exhibits in the restored station building, including original ticket office equipment, the Sentinel locomotive and rolling stock, and watch a 1 Gauge model railway in action. Children of all ages can play with the railway toys, explore the vintage BR Mk1 coach, and there is a small children's play area adjacent to the Centre.

The station is accessed via a ramp from the road and is well-suited to those in scooters or wheelchairs. The trucks have access ramps and movable seating to provide a novel place to relax.
Parking
Visitors can park at Yatton Station (car parking charges apply) and ride a bike along the Strawberry Line; there is plenty of cycle rack space at the Centre.
