Salt Lake Quarry is a tranquil, disused limestone quarry near Horton in Ribblesdale in North Yorkshire, managed by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust since 1985 for its botanical and invertebrate interest. The 2-hectare Site of Special Scientific Interest supports species-rich limestone grassland, marshy grassland, a pond, bare limestone and willow scrub, and is home to nationally rare or scarce plants such as rigid buckler fern, bird's-eye primrose and northern spike rush. The limestone becomes very slippy in wet conditions, when the site should be avoided.

- The reserve has uneven ground, is on different levels and has steep steps, so it is not recommended for anyone with accessibility issues. Entry is via a gate from a track leading to Colt Park Farm from the B6479.

- None onsite, but visitors can park in the large lay-by 0.5 miles along the B6479 (Gauber Road) towards Ribblehead, on the right-hand side.
