The Royal Scottish Academy of Art and Architecture, located on The Mound in Edinburgh, has championed Scottish art and architecture for 200 years. It hosts regularly changing temporary exhibitions, events, and masterclasses, and its building is owned and maintained by the National Galleries of Scotland.

Accessibility: Stair-free access via the South entrance at the rear of the building (opposite the National Gallery), with ramp entry and a lift to all floors. Also reachable via the National Gallery's garden level entrance in East Princes Street Gardens via a step-free, gentle winding pathway. Accessible toilets and baby changing on multiple floors; seating provided throughout galleries. It tends to be quieter in mornings and mid-week.
Parking: No parking at the gallery. Limited accessible parking for Blue Badge holders available at the National Galleries of Scotland (must be booked in advance). Other parking close by, including for Blue Badge holders; city car parks and Park and Ride sites recommended. Drop-off point at the back of the building on the Mound precinct.
