About this day out

A 20-hectare nature reserve that stretches from the high tide line to the coastal path, with a range of habitats including coastal woodland. Many bird species are present, including fulmars that lay their eggs on rocky cliff ledges and house martins that feed above the cliffs. Geological features include old slate workings and thin bands of limestone, an uncommon rock in Cornwall.
