About this day out
Purton Museum and Historical Society is located at 1 High Street, Purton, Swindon, on the first floor of The Institute building. The museum collects items that provide a record of life and work in the parishes of Purton, the Lydiards and Braydon. It also runs projects such as Romans in Purton, a collaboration with Foundations Archaeology investigating Roman activity in the area.
