About this day out

Poole Harbour Canoe Club, founded in 1956/7, is a paddlesport club with over 400 members and two bases: Lake Pier in Hamworthy, giving access to the sheltered waters of Poole Harbour and the Jurassic coast, and Riverside in Wimborne on the flat waters of the River Stour. Activities include racing sessions, coastal and canal trips, training and skill development, plus an annual Harbour Race. The club is affiliated with Paddle UK and operates as Wimborne Paddlesport on the River Stour.
