About this day out
Old London Road is one of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust's smallest nature reserves, containing a mixture of woodland, hedgerow and limestone grassland just north of Wotton-under-Edge. It is one of only two locations in the UK with a population of the rare limestone woundwort, which flowers at the end of June. The reserve is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and was adopted by GWT in 1972.
