Comann Eachdraidh Bharabhais agus Bhrù (Barvas and Brue Historical Society) is a voluntary body with Charitable Trust status, in existence since Spring 1995. It promotes an active interest in the history, heritage and culture of the Barvas and Brue area of the Isle of Lewis. The society collects and preserves documents, photographs and other material of historical value, and organises exhibitions, displays, lectures and other events.
