About this day out

The Mayflower Museum in the heart of Plymouth's historic Barbican area explores the Mayflower story across four floors and four centuries, beginning with Wampanoag history and culture and considering the impact of English colonisation on indigenous communities. The exhibition features images of Mayflower passenger descendants and Wampanoag tribal elders, the Turtle Island animation, and material from the Mayflower 2020 year and Indigenous Plymouth trail. The building also houses the Plymouth Tourist Information Centre, opposite the Mayflower Steps.
