The experience

About this day out

Longford Castle is one of the grandest stately homes in Britain, built in the late 16th century during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I to an unusual triangular plan. It was partly remodelled by architect James Wyatt in the 18th century and completed by the 4th Earl of Radnor with Victorian architect Anthony Salvin. It has been home to the Bouveries, the Earls of Radnor, for over 300 years, and the family continues to live there today.
