The experience
About this day out
Knockando Woolmill is a living piece of history in the heart of Speyside, where the craft of spinning, carding and weaving with local wool has been passed down through generations since 1784. Visitors can see historic textile machinery including an 1870 Platt Brothers mule and Dobcross looms from 1896 and 1899, browse the shop, and enjoy the Red Roof Coffee Shop. Situated 0.5 miles from the Speyside Way, it is a convenient stop for walkers and cyclists.
