The experience
About this day out
Kielder Observatory is a public astronomical observatory and educational charity set under some of the darkest skies in England, within Europe's largest Gold-Tier International Dark Sky Park. Established in 2008, it runs the UK's largest stargazing programme, with events such as Late Night Discovery where visitors view planets, stars and constellations through telescopes. It also operates a satellite site at Twice Brewed Inn on Hadrian's Wall, home to an immersive planetarium.
