About this day out

The Kent and Sharpshooters Yeomanry Museum, formed in 1966 and housed within Hever Castle since 2015, follows the history of the regiments from 1794 to the present day. Displays include medals, uniforms, weaponry and other militaria, with walk-in reconstructions of a WW1 Gallipoli trench and the interior of a WW2 Cromwell tank turret, plus four interactive touch screens. A Saladin armoured car, a 25lb field gun and an Anderson air-raid shelter stand outside the museum.
