About this day out
Peacock Meadows is 36 hectares of grassland, meadows and woodland linked through green corridors and public footpaths. Once arable farmland and then a turf farm, it is now managed as a public open space offering a tranquil environment to relax and enjoy. The site is home to skylarks, wildflower meadows, ancient woodland and a new community orchard.
