However, the passenger lift is currently out of order and there are steps at the entrance, so the museum is not currently accessible to wheelchair users or anyone requiring step-free access. Parking
A private disabled parking bay is located at the museum entrance on a first-come, first-served basis, with a Highland Council Blue Badge bay nearby (3-hour limit). Space is available at the entrance for visitor drop-off; coaches can use the drop-off point outside Inverness Town House. No other parking is provided at the museum. Paid on-street parking is available on Castle Street, and nearby car parks include Rose Street Multi-storey, Eastgate Shopping Centre, and Inverness Cathedral.
Dogs
