About this day out
The International Anthony Burgess Foundation is an educational charity, established in 2003 by Liana Burgess, which encourages public and scholarly interest in the life and work of Anthony Burgess. Based in the Engine House at Chorlton Mill in Manchester's university quarter, it runs exhibitions, new writing, concert commissions, academic research and public events, and preserves and promotes the extensive Anthony Burgess archive. The building is open for audience events and pre-booked archive visits.
