Hannah's Meadow is a 9-hectare nature reserve in Baldersdale, part of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, featuring two species-rich unimproved upland hay meadows and a grazing pasture. Once owned and farmed by Hannah Hauxwell, it is now owned and managed by Durham Wildlife Trust and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Coronation Meadow. Best visited in June and July to see traditional hay meadow flowers and birds such as lapwing, skylark, redshank, curlew and meadow pipit.

- Mixed terrain with pathways and boardwalks to Hannah's barn and an information panel. Not suitable for mobility scooters, but raised walkways can accommodate wheelchairs and pushchairs. The circular walk from Balderhead Reservoir has rough surfaced paths with some uneven terrain.
- Parking
- Parking available at Balderhead Reservoir car park, approximately 250m east of the reserve entrance (what3words: ///supplied.carriage.bulk). Limited roadside parking is available before the entrance, but parking at Balderhead Reservoir is recommended.
