About this day out

Green's Windmill & Science Centre is a restored and working 19th century tower windmill, museum and science learning centre in Nottingham. Visitors can learn about mathematical physicist George Green, see how grain is turned into flour, and experiment with light, electricity and magnetism in the science centre. Entry is free, though the windmill building will be closed to the public for repairs starting 3rd November 2025 while the science centre and garden remain open.
