One carer travels free with a valid carers card alongside one fare-paying passenger.

About this day out

The Great Cockcrow Railway is a 7¼ inch gauge miniature steam railway nestled in the 'green belt' of Surrey, not far from Chertsey. Operated by volunteers, it features a wide range of steam and 'instant start' locomotives, a fully working signalling system, and two routes of 1¼ miles each taking around 20 minutes. An on-site Station Café sells refreshments while the railway is open.

Accessibility: All passengers must be able to sit in the carriages unaided; children under 2 cannot be carried and the railway may refuse any passenger unable to sit without assistance. A Disabled Toilet with baby changing table is available (keys from the Station Café or Ticket Office), and one carer with a valid carers card travels free alongside one fare-paying passenger.
Parking: Free car parking on site. It can get busy, so visitors are asked to park neatly.
Dogs: Dogs are welcome but are not allowed in the Station area and cannot ride on the trains. They must not run loose in the car park or lower field, and owners must clear up after them.
