About this day out

Glenside Hospital Museum is located in the Fishponds area of Bristol, housed in the 1881 Grade II listed asylum church within the grounds of the old psychiatric hospital, now the University of the West of England's Glenside Campus. It explores the history of mental health care and learning difficulties through three collections of artefacts, medical curios and ephemera, and visitors usually spend about 90 minutes exploring the displays.
