Glasgow Botanic Gardens is a documented collection of plants for conservation, education and research, home to several national plant collections including dendrobium orchids, tree ferns and begonias. Owned and operated by Glasgow City Council, the Gardens are free to enter and open 7am to dusk all year, with the Kibble Palace and Main Range glasshouses open daily from 10am.

Parking: No parking within the grounds; on-street parking is available on Queen Margaret Drive immediately adjacent to the entrance. Limited parking for blue badge holders is available within the Gardens.
Dogs: Dogs are permitted on the grounds but not inside the Kibble Palace or Main Range glasshouses. Dogs must be kept on a lead in the main area of the Botanics; off-lead is permitted in the Arboretum and along the adjacent Kelvin Walkway. Only guide dogs can take part on tours.
