About this day out
Gallery Oldham is a gallery and museum in Oldham's Cultural Quarter with three large exhibition spaces and permanent displays of its collections throughout the building. It has been collecting artworks and objects since 1883 and holds over 100,000 items. The gallery runs exhibitions, gallery talks and activities for families, individuals, artists and young people, and is both autism friendly and dementia friendly.

- Welcomes all visitors with large lifts on both sides of the building, wheelchair loan from the information desk, accessible toilets and baby changing facilities, and assistance dogs welcome. It is an autism friendly venue with quieter spaces and times (call 0161 770 4742 for quieter visiting times) and a dementia friendly gallery with Dementia Friends trained staff and a dementia trail. Eight accessible parking spaces are available on the Southgate Street pay and display car park.
