The experience
About this day out
Full Moon Wood is a community wood planted in winter 2020 by Wotton Area CAN volunteers, who put in 400 Woodland Trust community trees on a small area of council land below the allotments. It is named after the pub that used to stand on the corner of the road and is managed with very low intervention so wildlife such as slow worms can thrive. The wood is open to all, with a footpath around the edge that takes about 10 minutes to walk (What3words: ///polar.deduced.placed).
