About this day out

Elmhurst Park is a nearly two-hectare park in Woodbridge, enclosed within boundary walls and located a short walk from the main shopping Thoroughfare and the River Deben. Gifted to the town by Lord Woodbridge in 1935, it is renowned for its floral colour, diverse mature planting and free summer events programme. The park has begun a process of rewilding, is home to more than 40 tree species, and features two sundials, a Coronation shelter and a Napoleonic cannon.
