About this day out

Dr Jenner's House, in Berkeley, Gloucestershire, tells the story of the pioneering scientist Edward Jenner (1749-1823) and his enduring legacy of vaccination. Visitors can explore the house, the peaceful garden, the Temple of Vaccinia (the rustic summerhouse used by Jenner as the world's first vaccination clinic), and a Physic Garden of herbs a Georgian country doctor may have used.
