The experience

About this day out

Corrieshalloch Gorge is a mile-long slot gorge through which the River Droma rushes, crossed by a Victorian suspension bridge with views of the crashing 45m high Falls of Measach. Designated a National Nature Reserve, it has woodland trails, ferns in the gorge microclimate and is home to a nationally rare species of cranefly. The Gateway to Nature Centre offers toilets, electric car charging and a takeaway café.
