About this day out

Coronation Park lies on the St Breock side of Wadebridge and occupies the wooded slopes of Polmorla Valley. Officially opened in 1902 to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VII, it contains a network of paths with an abundance of trees, plants and bushes, some rare in this part of Cornwall. Restored with the help of a £161,500 Heritage Lottery Grant, the park was officially reopened by the Earl of Wessex in June 2007.
