Hendred Museum is housed in Champs Chapel in Chapel Square, in the heart of East Hendred, a village in the Vale of the White Horse about 14 miles south of Oxford. Its exhibition covers East Hendred, the Second World War and the Harwell site, featuring rare objects and artefacts from the village's history.

Reopening Sunday 5th April 2026 (Easter Sunday) at 2.30pm; open every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, 2.30pm-4.30pm, until the end of October. Visits outside regular hours can be arranged by telephone or email.

- Champs Chapel is a tiny chapel with limited physical access; some disabled visitors may find it difficult to move about, particularly reaching the first floor. Most significant artefacts have been moved to the ground floor, and a computer with an interactive preview of the first floor and remaining artefacts is installed there. Staff will help visitors move about where possible. The museum has no toilets of its own; disabled toilets are available at the Eyston Arms.
