About this day out
Cambridge Science Centre is a hands-on science centre in the heart of Cambridge Science Park at the Trinity Centre, featuring over 20 hands-on, open-ended exhibits, science shows, and interactive workshops. It is designed for family visits on weekends and school holidays, with Science Communicators supporting children's exploration at every session. A second centre operates in Wisbech at the Horsefair Shopping Centre.

Opening calendar
Cambridge centre: weekends and school holidays 9:00am–4:00pm (school holidays until 31 August, Monday–Sunday 9.00am–4.00pm; term times from 12 September, Saturday–Sunday 9.00am–4.00pm). Closed 1–11 September 2026 and on 5–6 September for staff training. Wisbech centre: school holidays until 29 August, Thursday–Saturday 10.30am–2.45pm; term times from 12 September, Saturdays 10.30am–2.45pm with a 30-minute staff lunch closure at 12.30pm.
