About this day out

Inside a modern covered building in Caerleon, visitors can explore the remains of the natatio, an open-air swimming pool that once held more than 80,000 gallons of water, with film projection showing a Roman soldier diving. The remains of the hot room (caldarium) and cold room (frigidarium) can also be seen. The baths formed part of Isca, one of just three permanent legionary fortresses in Britain.
