The experience
About this day out
Brechin Castle, the home of Lord and Lady Dalhousie in Brechin, Angus, and its spectacular gardens are open to the public in June/July each year. The castle and gardens have been in the Dalhousie family since the 17th century and stand on a 55,000-acre estate in North East Scotland. The present house was last reconstructed in the early 1700s and incorporates parts of the original castle dating back to the 13th century.
