About this day out
The Breamore Museum is a post war village museum showcasing staged sets depicting what it was like to live in rural England after World War Two. Its exhibition scenes include a dairy, blacksmiths, school, leather worker and village cottage. It also holds an impressive collection of old farm machinery, including tractors and steam engines, with a functioning steam workshop and traction engine among the few remaining operational pieces on exhibition in the UK.
